Chrissie Fernandez is a Senior Attorney at Landis Arn & Jaynes. Her primary focus is on family-sponsored immigration, U visas, VAWA petitions, citizenship, and asylum.

Chrissie Fernandez moved to Portland, Maine from Islamorada, Florida in 2021. She received her B.A. in Sociology from the University of Florida and her law degree from Stetson University College of Law in Gulfport, Florida. 

Prior to joining Landis Arn & Jaynes in 2021, Chrissie worked as an assistant public defender trial attorney in Florida for seven years. She also previously interned at Gulfcoast Legal Services in Florida helping low-income individuals seeking U visa and VAWA classification under U.S. immigration law. She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the Maine Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. 

She is fluent in Spanish and is an avid traveler, having visited over 20 countries and always looking to see more. Her personal goal is to visit all 50 U.S. states.
