UPDATE: As of March 18, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services temporarily suspended routine in-person services.  This suspension has been extended until June 4, 2020 to help slow the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19). On or after June 4, USCIS plans to begin reopening offices, depending on whether public closures are extended further.  In the meantime, USCIS staff will continue to perform mission critical duties that do not involve contact with the public. However, USCIS will provide emergency services for limited situations. To schedule an emergency appointment contact the USCIS Contact Center.  To read the announcement, see USCIS Response to COVID-19 _ USCIS or visit https://www.uscis.gov/about-us/uscis-response-coronavirus-2019-covid-19
