Rhee Michelle-Smith joined Landis Arn & Jaynes in July 2007. Rhee holds a Bachelor of Music Degree from Westminster Choir College in Princeton, New Jersey. After 25 years as a performer, teacher and director, she received a paralegal certificate from Andover College to launch a second career. Prior to joining Landis Arn & Jaynes she worked as a paralegal for four years, most recently in Portland, Maine where she specialized in employment-related immigration and in Portsmouth, New Hampshire where she worked on asbestos litigation. As a paralegal to Peter Landis, Marcus Jaynes and Cynthia Arn, she provides assistance in both employment-based and family-based immigration matters. Rhee volunteers as a Court-Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) where she advocates for abused and neglected children in the court system by serving as Guardian ad Litem for children who have been removed from their homes.
