On November 20 & 21, 2014, President Barack Obama announced that through executive action, new immigration policies would take effect, in order to establish “immigration accountability” and take initial steps toward broader and more comprehensive legislative reforms of our country’s immigration system. The American Immigration Council – through its Immigration Policy Center website – has issued the following guide to the “Immigration Accountability Executive Action”: http://www.immigrationpolicy.org/special-reports/guide-immigration-accountability-executive-action. Additional information can be found at the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services’ web site at http://www.uscis.gov/immigrationaction.

Please feel free to contact our office with questions regarding the new policies, including whether they may affect you and how to apply for the new benefits.
